Hankook Tire to supply tires exclusively for BMW Driving Center for seven consecutive years

Global leading tire company Hankook Tire will continue to supply tires for all test-driving vehicles at BMW Driving Center run by the German luxury automaker BMW until 2021.

Since the opening of the BMW Driving Center in August 2014, Hankook has been an exclusive tire supplier for its test-driving vehicles. The announced 1-year contract extension will have Hankook’s products be equipped to all vehicles used for test driving on track as well as other programs at BMW Driving Center for the seventh year in a row. This proves Hankook’s excellence in tire technologies and its premium brand value.

Total nine products are being supplied to the BMW Driving Center including Ventus RS-4 from the Ventus Racing product category optimized for circuit driving, as well as Ventus S1 evo3 and Ventus S1 evo3 SUV from the Ventus Premium Sport product category which guarantees ultra-high performance. Its premium winter tire, Winter i*cept evo3, is also on the list.

Hankook plans to provide the best-possible driving experience to consumers who visit the BMW Driving Center through its advanced tire technologies accumulated over the years of supplying OE tires for premium cars worldwide. With the best driving performance obtained through precise handling, excellent grip and braking, Hankook will deliver the strong power of BMW’s powertrain to the surface of the road.

The BMW Driving Center covers 291,802 square meters and is equipped with a 2.6-kilometer driving track, with which it has been presenting a new driving culture by offering professional racing experiences not only for car enthusiasts but also for anyone who enjoys dynamics and speed. In November 2020, the center became the largest complex cultural space for driving in Korea, surpassing 1 million cumulative visitors in just six years.
